WINTERFELL TOURNAMENT ( III game )

- Everybody plays against everyone once and most victory points scored during the entire tournament wins.
RULESETS:
- Fantasy battle 9th age 1.3.4
- Undying Dynasties 1.3.4
- Dread Elves 1.3.4
- 4000 point game
- Secondary objective: Capture the Flag
- Proxies allowed
- Standard rules for 9th terrain and scenarion
DEPLOYMENT:
- I won the deployment zone and decided to deploy each unit I had to the battlefield to make sure I get the first turn.
- As secondary objective I chose Dancers, Tower Gurad and Auxiliareirs and he chose both chariots and archer unit.
MAGIC: 6+5
- Whispers of the Veil to Tower Guard 3 PD
- Touch of the Reaper to Dark Prince 3 PD , dispelled on 4 dd
- Truth of Time to Dread Sphinx 2 PD
- Phateps Curse to Hydra 3 PD, dispelled on 2 DD
SHOOTING:
- I shot dark acolytes with scouts and chariot
- I killed one dancer with catapult
- Ark of Ages managed to score single wound on Altar
MAGIC: 5+3
- Dispelled Whispers on 3 DD
- Grave Call to Dread Sphinx 5 PD (OF), dispelled with 5 DD
MOVEMENT:
- Chariots declared charge to acolytes
- Warsphinx declared charge to acolytes -> they chose flee -> Warsphinx redirected charge to Dancers of Yema
- Dread Sphinx declared charge to hydra
- Chariots caught fleeing acolytes
- Scorpion and Stalkers arrived at battlefield
MAGIC: 5+1
- Ancestral Aid to Dread Sphinx 2 PD
- Spectral Blades to War Sphinx 2 PD
- Whisperers of the Veil to Dancers 2 PD -> dispelled on 5
SHOOTING:
- Catapult killed 11 blades of nabh
- Scored couple kills with shooting to auxillieries and Tower Guards
CLOSE COMBAT:
- Dread Sphinx destroyed hydra (thankfully I casted to rerolls to hit. If I wouldn't dread sphinx would only scored one poisoned attack to hydra. Though most likely hydra would have broken as it did no wounds to sphinx and I got downhill charge.)
- Battle Sphinx suffered 3 wounds. I used breath weapon with it and It scored nicely wounds. Dancers broke and Sphinx caught them
MOVEMENT:
- Blades of Nabh failed frenzy and subsequently failed charge on catapult
- Tower Guard charged Scorpion
SHOOTING:
- Auxiliaies killed 7 skeleton archer
CLOSE COMBAT:
- (we almost decided to simply take the scoprion of the board, but as my opponent had crimson mail we rolled to strikes) Opponents dark prince botched his attacks and also tower guard. Scorpion survived the strikes and managed to score a wound to Dark Prince before it was crumbled.
MOVEMENT:
- Dread Sphinx and Skeleton warrios charged to Tower Guard
- Chariots charged to Harpies
MAGIC: 5+1
- Spectral Blades to Dread Sphinx 2 PD (OF) -> Three skeletons were killed due miscast
- Whispers of the Veil to Tower Guard 3 PD -> Dispelled
SHOOTING:
- Combined shooting caused Auxilieries to panic. They fled after Stalkers shot them and funnily enough they fled right in front of the chariots overrun
CLOSE COMBAT:
- Chariots ( as expected ) destroyed harpies and overrun directly in to fleeing auxilieres
- Dread Sphinx survived without any damage, some skeletons were killed. Dread Sphinx killed Dark Prince and couple Tower Guard were also killed. I won the combat and caught the fleeing
Techinically we ended the fight here, but my opponent scored the catapult and then we concluded that I would have more than easy task of kiling all the nabhs with my shooting thus considered that my opponents entire army would be wiped out from battle field. Final Score was 20 - 0
