I don't know what equiptments he had, or if there was some chaos marks etc.

This particular player is extremely hard to anticipate since he really playes so

rogue lists. This was something extremely magic heavy. Once he played only chariots

etc.

Cursed Kings

General: Loriel

I wanted to give those warsphinxes a test drive. I also wanted to try out horseback

wizards for more manoeuvrability.

Deployment

My opponent made cheap warhound bunkers for his level 2 mages. And little bigger marauder bunkers for Lord. He revealed with vanguard move that the mysterious forest was Blood Forest. He managed to get just past it, so his hounds weren't in the forest after vanguard.

My opponent managed to deploy first so he got +1. After we have started the game he realised that He didn't deploy his Hell Cannons. If he had deployed them I would have got +1 to roll. I let him deploy them since he is rather new player and he still rolled 6 for start and I rolled something like 2 or 3.

My Hierophant has

Desert Wind

Protection

Desiccation

Vengeance

My light lord has

Pha's Protection

Speed of Light

Bironas Timewarp

Shems Burning gaze

I don't remember every spell he got.

Death Lord had purple sun and every sniping spell,

Nurgle lord had... atleast plague wind.

Both fire had fireball and some other spell.

Shadow had pendelum and okkams.

Turn 1 - Warriors of Chaos

Hellcannon failed Caged Fury test, so it was. My opponent took it really aggressive aproach.

Magic WoM was 1+5 . We both got a channel. He tried to cast 3 PD on small Plague Wind but failed the cast with total score of 14. Then he tried to 4 dicing small purple sun but I dispelled it with my dices.

Hellcannon tried to kill Necrosphinx, but got scattered away.

Turn 1 - Cursed Kings

Well there was some quite obvious charges. My hierotitan (almost max range) managed to terror my opponent Death Marauders. I still managed to redirect him to other marauder unit, but failed the charge. Skeletons actually was just in the max range vs. chaos spawn and I managed even redirect them on LD 5, but of course failed the charge on them.

WoM was 3+3 and I got 2 dices from casket. My opponent dind't get any channel So I had 8 dices to my opponents 3.. I tried to max 6 pd casket on Hellcannon ( I totally forgot that he was next to magic circle, and I actually realized it just now while doing this report. Most likely we would have forgotten it anyway ;) ) My opponent decided to let it go, but he didn't fail LD test and no bounce vs. Chaos Spawn. I also casted 5+ ward on horsemen. I actually forgot Hierotitans extra casting bonus on this round, but it wasn't needed since my opponent failed dispelling either way.

Shooting... Now I don't remember which one was it was it the shooting that caused those hounds to flee or death of those other hounds...

Close combat was success. Too bad that middle warphinx didn't get 1 inch longer pursuit. Right side warpshinx used breat weapon.

Turn analyze:

- Well to be honest my opponent really feeded my monsters.

- Terror really payed off, he was bound to fail check at least once. I got 4 terror monsters and he had no BSB and LD was 8 allaround.

Turn 2 - Warriors of Chaos

My opponent rolled awful random movement with chaos spawns. If I remember correctly both was 1+3 and it was just not enough the make flank charge on warpshinc. He failed rally on other warhounds. ( I realized that this scale is wrong, those hounds were much closer to edge. Was it about 6 inches or something. Anyway they ran off. Horsemen rallied and warhounds rallied.

Magic was 5+1 and I manaeged to channel (those sixes keeped coming) He tried six dicing purple sun. He rolled less than average, so I tried to dispel it with dices and managed to do so. ( I really hoped that I wouldn't dispelled it so my friend would got something out of the game. In best case scenario 5 extra dices to cast somethign else.

He tried to get lucky shot on my hierophant. It got scattered and partially hitted only horsemens. Other hellcannon missfired and my opponent rolled astounishing 1 and destroyed it.

Turn 2 - Cursed Kings

I forgot my two scropions that were in EBtS.

I charged with hierotitan for awful long charge against chaos spawn. It obviously failed. Warsphinx charged to horsemen. Other warsphinx was just barely in the front arc of Hellcannon and none of the chaos spawn were in its front arc. This was rather funny charge, but as we concluded how are charge moves met, I went strait forward, did almost 90 degree turn, then just barely clipped hellcannon on the left corner and warsphinx backside managed to swing past chaos spawn...

Magic was indeed nice, I got something like 9 dices to his 4 (and only level 2 was left) I managed to put Speed of Light on Warsphinx that was battling the Hellcannon. Then I managed to do normal Dessication on Hellcannon.

At shooting I realized that I had forgotten my archers , but they were quite out of the game anyway.

Close combat was succee, that warsphinx managed to do 3 wounds on Hellcannon and as expected other warpshinx just trampled horsemen to their untimely death. I used others breat weapon on this combat.

Turn 3 - Warriors of Chaos

He managed to roll other Chaos Spawn to close combat with my warsphinx.

Magic was sad. he rolled WoM 4+4 and had only two spells left. He decided that he wants to try large fireball, but since he could do it only with 6 dices he casted that other spell just to get it done. If I remember correctly it Cascading Fire-Cloak. He used 2 dices for it and managed to roll double sixes. The miscast did little damage, but managed to draw 4 dices from his pool. And of course I managed to dispel that fireball. On the other hand 3d6 str 4 hits vs. warsphinx (he got 2 wounds allready in) isn't too reliable, but not impossible.

Close combat was excelsior. Warsphinx did well over average rolls against Hellcannon and destroyed it. The battle was draw, but I managed to get with LD check a combat reform so my sphinx turned his facing.

Turn 3 - Cursed Kings

Necrosphinx Terror managed to panic warhounds of the battlefield. Hierotitan was actually little closer to that chaos spawn. Was it a 13 inches or somethig like that. This was the first time that horsemen mages really payed off.

Magic was nice, bubble phas protection, dissecation on warsphinx foe and speed of light for hierotitan.

Close combat was good, small grinding against those chaos spawns.

Turn 4 - Warriors of Chaos

Only combat, and those chaos spawns managed to stay on board.

Turn 4 - Cursed Kings

I casted bubble pha again. He managed to dispel my buble speed of light.

Close combat was bad since, i did almost none wounds to that darn spawn.

Turn 5 - Warriors of Chaos

Chaos spawn finaly died.

I realized this moment that I forgot my tomb scorpions totally.

------------

Game was total anhilation and final score was 2500 - 0
