Deployment

Terrain was randomized as BRB 8th page 142. I won the first placement and the order was following

- Mysterious river ( pond on the right)

- Bulding (left)

- Khemrian quicksand

- Mysterious river (pond on the left)

- Tower

- Fence (middle)

- Fence (left)

- Fence (right)

- Nehekharan Sphynx

- Small building in middle.

I won the the side and debloyment roll. The order was following:

- White Lions

- Great Swords

- Phoenix Guard

- Archers

- Spearmen

- Steam Tank

- Reavers on left

- Innercircle Knights

- Reavers on right

- Hurricanum

- Silver Helms

- Cannon

- Frost Hearthphoenix

- Empire characters

- Rest of the elves

My opponent had level 4 shadow mage that generated ( 3 , 3 -> 2, 4 -> sig, 6 ), so he had miasma, enfeeble foe, wither and okkam's mindrazor

He also had level 1 shadow mage that took miasma

My archmage generated ( 3, 4 -> drain magic, 4 -> apohteosis, 4 - > hand of glory).

My opponent won the first turn.

LORE: Battle of Hadersburg

Loriel was still grieving for the loss of beloved Leo. Not a day went by that he wouldn't plan for revenge on the Empire forces. Crucifiction of the fellow elves was too much and Loriel issued an order to take city of Hadersburg in the outskirts of empire. The emperor decided to take care of the situation by himself.

Turn 1 - Empire

Magic WoM 4+2 +1 PD (hurriculum)

- Miasma to silver helms lvl 1 4 PD ( 11 ) 2 DD dispel

- Miasma to silver helms lvl 4 3 PD ( 12 ) 2 DD dispel

Shooting

- I placed my phoenix carelessly and the cannon was able to draw line of sight to it. It hit but rolled 1 to wound.

Turn 1 - High Elves

Without any fear the elves marched forward.

Magic WoM 4+1, no channels

- Drain magic 1 PD ( 10 )

- Apotheosis 1 PD ( 10 ) 2 DD dispelled

- Hand of glory 1 PD ( 8 ) +2 ws for lions

- Walk between the world 1 PD ( rr ) failure

- Fury ring 1 PD ( 6 ) dispelled

Turn 2 - Empire

There was enough room for inner circle knights to charge phoenix guards, but they failed it. Archers rally.

Magic WoM 5 + 4 +1 PD hurriculum +1 DD

- Miasma to PG 3 PD passed, reduced all stats by 2

- Miasma 3 PD native failure

- Shield of Faith 4 PD dispellel

Shooting:

- Again cannon hit phoenix, but ward save was passed

Turn 2 - High Elves

This looks littly messy, but my frostheart was able to flank charge mage bunker. My opponent totally forgot the huge flying bird. The best part was that it was able to stay there out side of opponents charge arcs. Reavers charged arches which ran off the board.

Magic WoM 6+2 + PD + DD

- Apotheosis 2 pd ( 15 rr )

- Walk between the worlds silver helms 2 PD (12 ) dispelled

- Drain magic 3 pd ( 13 )dispelled

- Hand of glory 2 pd ( 12 rr)

Frosthearth managed to kill the battle wizard and break the opponent. It restrained pursuit and my opponent rolled high flee off the board.

Turn 3 - Empire

once again this is littly slobby work on the picture. There was enough room for ick to charge Phoenix guard so that PG would close the door

Magic 6 + 2 + 2 x pd (channel + hurriculum)

- Rerolls to wound 2 pd ( dispelled)

- Miasma (level 1 ) 3 pd ( IF ) detonation 7 dead great swords and rest of the dices drawn. Pg lost weaponskill.

In close combat

- Steam tank suffered couple wounds

- Phoenix guards really nailed those ICK and managed to win the combat. Karl Franz attacks were warded off. I directed all possible attacks to warrior priest and my opponent saved 4 wounds this round.

Turn 3 - High Elves

Reavers failed to charge the cannon.

Magic: WoM 4+2

- Drain magic 2 pd ( 12 ) dispelled

- Walk between worlds 1 PD ( 10 rr ) reavers closer to cannon

- Apotehosis 1 PD (11 )

- Hand of glory to phoenix guard 1 PD dispelled

Close Combat:

- Annointed did couple wounds to stank again. If my memory servers right it had two left

- This time my opponent rolled really well saves and only couple inner circle knights died. His warrior pries again saved all the wounds. He lost the combat still due high static but Karl Franz hold the lines saved the day.

Turn 4 - Empire

Magic Wom 6 + 2 + 1 Hurriculum

- miasma 3 PD dispelled

- Shield for ICK 3 PD (if)

Close combat

- Hurriculum pretty much nailed those spearmen. Again warrior priest saved all the strikes and couple pg died. Spearmen and PG remained steadfast, but phoenix broke.

Turn 4 - High Elves

Silver helms did a daring charge to ick flank as reavers to gain static resolution.

Magic WoM 6+3 + 1 DD

- Drain magic 2 pd ( 15 ) 5 DD dispell

- Apotheosis (healed bsb) 2 pd

- Hand of glory to pg 2 pd

At close combat again my opponent did rather good saves, and again the warrior priest saved all the wounds. but I lost the combat by 2 and spearmen and reavers broke off. Hurriculum restrained pursuit.

Turn 5 - Empire

Steam tank blew updue steam points, it did some damage to my units.

Magic WoM 1 + 1 + 1pd hurriculum

- Shield for ick 3 pd.

Again only couple wounds were exhanged between the ICK and PG fight, and warrior priest saved all the attacks made to it.

Turn 5 - High Elves

Magic 6+5

- Apotheosis

- Drain magic dispelled

- Hand of glory

- Walk between the worlds

At close combat there warrior priest again saved all the attacks came to it and it saved total 17 wounds in the game without a scracts. Truly epic priest. Circle knights got too much beating and were forced to break and was caught. Frostheart pursuited right in to the greatswords

Turn 6 - Empire

Magic 5+3 + hurriculum

- Miasma 3 PD failure

- Rr to wound 2 pd dispelled

- Shield 4 pd 3 dd dispelled.

Frostheart killed the mage and sstomped enough, but couldn't break stubborn enemy.

Turn 6 - High Elves

Annointed and noble charged the flank of hurriculum. Frostie managed to kill bsb and my heroes finished hurriculum.

Final score was 2400 - 25
