Deployment

ARMY LISTS:

- My opponent might had some magic items etc but to be honest I don't remember.

DEPLOYMENT:

- Opponent chose table edge.

- Sootheyer generated from path of Shamanish. rolle 4 and 6. Swapped 4 to 0. So He had Awaken of the Beast and Totemic Summoning

- Daemon Prince generated from path of Evocation and rolled 3, ancestral aid.

- Horror champion had predifined spells.

Deployment order was following:

- Sirens

- Wildhorn 2

- Horrors

- Chariot

- Daemon Prince

- Cyclops

- Rest of the Daemons ( He had 3 unit still undeployed)

I won the first turn.

Turn 1 - Daemon Legion

MOVEMENT:

- Furies moved right to minotaurs maximum charge range

MAGIC: 6 + 5

- Ancestral Aid to Horrors 3 PD ( 9 ) displled with 3 DD

- Upgraded hand of heaven to Horrors 3 PD (10) failed to dispel with 3 DD -> caused 7 str 7 hits and destroyed the Chariot and paniced Wildhorns of the board

SHOOTING:

- Horrors were out of range

CLOSE COMBAT: NONE

Turn 1 - Beast Herds

MOVEMENT:

- Frenzy passed and small advance.

MAGIC: 5+4 + Dispel Dice

- Awaken the Beast upgraded to Wildhorns 4 PD

- Totemic Summon 5 PD, dispelled with 6 PD

SHOOTING:

- Cyclops struck Daemon Prince with 2 wounds.

CLOSE COMBAT: None

Turn 2 - Daemon Legion

MOVEMENT:

- Daemon Prince charged Mongrels and they didn't flee due terror

- Sirens charged Wildhorns

- Furies redirected Minotaurs

MAGIC: 6+5 + PD

- Ancestral Aid to Sirens 3 PD ( 16 ) passed

- Hand of Heaven upgraded to Cycplots 4 PD (13) dispelled

- Cleansing Fire upgraded to Siren Champion 3 PD passed

- Evocation of souls to Sirens 2 PD passed.

SHOOTING: NONE

CLOSE COMBAT:

- Daemon Prince fumbled his attacks, but stomped 4 mongrels down. They held due steadfast (as flyers don't have ranks)

- Sirens did only 3 wounds. When I did the charge I complete forgot that my opponent had the +1 Toughness spell. Without the spells I would gained another 6 wounds (with breath weapon normal attacks :)

TURN ANALYZE:

- First of all I didn't know (or better yet didn't check up properly) that Cyclops has 5+ ward and magic resistance 3. However neither did my opponent so using the hand of heaven and dispelling it were both rather poor choises from us :D

- Mongrels didn't break the best possible outcome on the combat as cycplos cannot shoot it now.

Turn 2 - Beast Herds

MOVEMENT:

- Minotaurs charged furies

MAGIC: 3+2

- Awaken of the Beast to Wildhorns upgraded 5 PD failed to dispell with 3 DD

SHOOTING:

- Cyclops missed slaughterers

CLOSE COMBAT:

- Minotraus naturally overrun furies.

- Sirens lost the combat by 1, but no crumble

- Daemon Prince killed all the mongres and reformed to Wildhorn flank

Turn 3 - Daemon Legion

MOVEMENT:

- Daemon Prince charged the Wildhorn flank

- Mounted Sirens Charged Cyclop

MAGIC: 6+2

- Evocation of Souls to Sirens 2 PD

- Ancestrad aid to Mounted Sirens 3 PD

- Cleansing Fire upgraded to Mounted Siren Champion 3 PD failed to cast

SHOOTING:

- Couple wounds to Minotaurs

CLOSE COMBAT:

- Mounted Sirens with the help of Ancestral Aid managed to do 4 wounds and received 2. Cyclop broke and Sirens restrained pursuit. Cyclop ran of the board.

- Sirens + Daemon Prince Broke Wildhorns and caught them.

Turn 3 - Beast Herds

MOVEMENT:

- My opponent chose to go behind the building

Turn 4 - Daemon Legion

MAGIC: 2+1

- Upgraded Cleansing Fire to Daemon Prince 3 PD.

SHOOTING:

- No effect from breath weapon

Turn 4 - Beast Herds

MOVEMENT:

- Reformed

Turn 5 - Daemon Legion

MAGIC: 6+4

- Ancestral Aid upgraded to Daemon Prince 4 PD, Dispelled with 6

- DP was too far away for the

SHOOTING:

- WHOOPA! multishot double 6, 10 hits, 9 wounds! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg-D6fJCFwY )

Turn 5 - Beast Herds

MOVEMENT:

- Failed Frenzy, failed Charge

Turn 6 - Daemon Legion

MAGIC: 3+1

- Ancestral Aid upgraded to Daemon Prince 4 PD, dispelled with 3 DD

SHOOTING:

- ................. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........ Again double sixes now 9 hits and 6 wounds, but it was enough to kill the entire Minotaur unit. leaving only the chieftain standing.

My opponent tried to charge Sirens with Alpha Bull but it failed and the game was over.

GAME ANALYZE:

- Now the Lash of Lust showed that it is force to be feared. Ofc this time I had lady luck on my side, but still basicly with 2 turns of shooting it destroyed 7 minotaur unit.

- I really liked the beat herd armybook and it seemed that they got a lot of good upgrades in it. I started to even consider of getting beast herd for my next army. Those ambush / scouts!
